tears of the moon

a transcendent sigh of the past

I paid homage to the moon in terms of
A song, a transcendent sigh of my past.
A prayer to the flares and the wane
Hung around the purple edges of the karst.

I weep in solitude as the clouds waft
Across the terrain, behind the peaks.
What are they seeking to conceal?
Why are there remnants of azure streaks?

A fermenting sea of amethyst and silver
Roils across the serrated rocks and basalt.
Are the tears of the moon hung in silence?
Or have the waves ceased their mirth in humble exalt?

a masquerading diction

the elements play

Swing a conch into marble
  Watch the shattering lith
Pulverise a mind with your words
  The dendrons burn
Strike on your blood with your flaws
Waters of the womb desiccate from my hollows

Noxious strings and your rusted needle
They pierce, four chambers demolished
Beneath the debris I wilt into
A sepia jasmine, a shrouded garland and
The withering corolla of sulphur

When will the reckoning yearn for bloom
These fumes are searing living vessels
The claws curl with an ache for tears
Maybe when birth ages and ferments
Then will the prologue breathe?

in Dreams we Dance

a sliver of sky; a ship cast away

You’ve lived a life of puzzles:
Where’s the piece that went missing?
She capers forward-
One firm pat, one gentle whisper
And she disappears
Like the moon;
You see a sliver of sky-
When have you seen the moon
In full glory?
Like a ship cast away
You prance around in an endless sea
With a floating carpet of grass
That helps you traverse your dreams-
Yet you never felt her breath,
Yet you never heard her in melancholy-
And that was all you dreamed of.
The maiden who cradled you an eternity ago
Is now wrecked away from your shore
And she, too, dreams of you.

Moonshine

into the unknown

Moonshine,
May I drown myself in your light?
The bridge we built is in smithereens
The ropes we used to knot each other are in disarray
Your light is frayed and there is an eclipse

Moonshine,
The goblet I used to pay homage to your reflection
Is rusted, and your reflection, condensed into grains of sand
I choke on your arid remains
Trying to liberate the poison

Moonshine,
The night has been rendered obsolete
Where is the dawn, I want to lay down my obeisance;
Poised rays fall from grace and weep;
There is a chest with no treasure and it’s weighing me down into the unknown

A Melody of Highs

There’s a flower through rock;

When the river cries
There’s bubbles nearing its surface,
Streaks of blinding light at the interface;
When the bubbles meet a fresh breath of air
There’s a melody of highs.

When a lost soul weeps,
The moon echoes a sigh,
Wings of regret and sorrow fly;
There’s a tune of hope the sky dances to
While the shadow underneath sleeps.

There’s a flower through rock,
Splinters of magma at its wake,
Its meandering roots at stake;
I might burn in lava, or soar in space
But I will never collide with shock.

Space

Silent Drums

Clocks with bright faces but lost in time;

I spend an eternity for the 00:00 to strike
There’s gears whirring behind your eyes
And I know you’re waiting for the right time
To strike at my ribs, where I’m most tender
Do you want to love me?

The clock impassively ticks into the 00:00
The tower quivers, as if anticipating a storm
I tremble, hoping the tears dont pool inside
There’s a rush, a sweet momentum of pain
Do I love you?

The zeroes decided to pass and I have you
I have a heavy heart where tears collected,
Clocks with bright faces but lost in time;
Eons tick away into the night, drums silent
Does love care?

Revive|Rusted

A bloodied dagger with a broken conscience

My tears bleed onto my blade,
A knife I use to pierce the heart on my paper
Over and over until it makes some semblance of feelings
But the feelings are rusted
And all I end up with is
A bloodied dagger with a broken conscience
Yearning to piece together the
Shreds of paper it tore
And shards of the heart it seeked to revive.

Transcend

We run around in circles

These circles are runaways
Eclipsed into a spiral

These thoughts are tangibles
That dont want to be defined

This transience is a fleeting
Touch of destiny
Stagnating upon your fears

These voices are a choir
Of fractals trying to find each other
In a mess of shapes

This life is a continuous arc
Of love and loss lessons
Circumscribing your growth

You are a luminous rock-
A marquise diamond
With fifty eight facets,
Fifty eight aspects of your
Multidimensional self
Shining through your eyes,
Scattering yellow light.

We run around in circles
Trying to make sense of a beginning or an end;
But these circles dont have birth or demise;
They just are.
